Studio 3 Overview

As Robert's work has evolved over the years he has found he prefers painting outdoors, in Plein Air, but he also works in his studio. For the past 31 years, he and his wife, Jackie, have owned and operated Sandidge Fine Art in the heart of California’s scenic Gold Rush County. Their gallery is housed in their beautifully preserved 170-year-old historic building in Diamond Springs, where they have created a unique place to live, work, and share art.

Their goal has always been to live an artful life - combining home, studio and gallery under one historic roof. During the Open Studio Tour, you are invited behind the scenes to experience not only the paintings, but also the place where they are created and the lifestyle that inspires them.
